Center for Development of Advanced Computing anticipates applications for admission to its various post graduate diploma courses for the academic year commencing February 2015. Eligibility Criteria 1. Graduate in Engg or equivalent (eg. BE/B. Tech/4 years B. Sc Engg./ AMIE/ AIETE/ DoEACC B level etc) in Electronics/ Electrical / Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or related areas. PG in Engg. Sciences (eg. MCA/M.Sc. Engg, M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT, Electrical Electronics, Electronics, Instrumentation etc) Post Graduates in Maths or allied areas (eg. Statistics, Applied Maths) The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination. Examination Section Section A English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning 1 hour Section B Computer Fundamentals, C Programming, Data Structures, Data Communications & Networking, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Operating Systems 1 hour Section C Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors 1 hour Examination Pattern Every section will have 50 objective-type questions of 3 marks each (maximum 150 marks for any one section). Each objective-type question in C-CAT will have four choices as possible answers of which only one will be correct.
