There are basically 3 entrance exams which are to be given to go for any course in abroad and they are TOEFL, GRE, IELTS.

No need of writing all three exams, the exam differs from countries and some universities. Where as for United States, they ask TOEFL, and GRE scores, for United Kingdom they will ask IELTS score.

GRE are accepted by universities ranking. Min GRE marks are for 1600,in that should score atleast 900 marks otherwise you will not get the admission in the university.
