CMC Vellore 2014 is a national level examination that is being conducted by the Christian Medical College Vellore Association (CMC Vellore), and is the initial qualifying examination for admissions to undergraduate health sciences courses i.e. MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing in Christian Medical College Vellore.

CMC Vellore 2014 Selection Process:

All candidates whose applications are in order and complete will be registered for the CMC Vellore 2014 entrance exam.

Step - 1 – Candidates have to through a competitive process comprising of a preliminary Computer Based Entrance Test, which is scheduled to be held on May 23, 2014.

Step-2 - Short-listed candidates will be invited for special test at the institute which will assess the candidate’s character and aptitude to grant the admission. Interviews will also be part of the assessment at this stage. All admissions are based on inter-se merit of the aspirant .


CMC Vellore 2014 Exam Pattern:

In the CMC Vellore 2014 Exam there are 60 questions each of the Physics, Chemistry and Biology (120 minutes total) and 120 questions of the General Ability including Speed and Accuracy and a few questions on issues of current topical interest (70 minutes).

The General Ability paper will be in two sections. Section I will have 60 questions to be answered in 50 minutes and Section II will have 60 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. The whole exam will be 3 hours 15 minutes long.
