Can you tell me when will be the admission form for admission in Engineering at Undergraduate level begins 2016 in Delhi Technological University or DTU?

Delhi Technological University or DTU communicates education and training in 15 branches of engineering at undergraduate level during morning session, while 4 B. Tech (evening) programs is offered in evening session with an intake of 182.

The 4 B. Tech (evening) programs are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics & communication engineering. The number of seats available is 45, 46, 46 and 45 respectively.

DTU 2016 B. Tech Admissions - Important dates

Commencement of online registration, fee submission and choice filling
Second week of July, 2016

Closing of Registration Fee Submission
Second week of July, 2016

Closing of Choice Filling (online)
Second week of July, 2016

Display of First list for admission
Third week of July, 2016

Reporting at the Institution
Third week of July, 2016

DTU 2016 B. Tech Admissions Eligibility criteria:

One must have passed a state diploma exam of three years duration in the corresponding branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate of 55% (45% for SC/ST candidate).

If one does not possess a diploma in the corresponding branch, their candidature shall be examined by the equivalence committee constituted by Vice Chancellor, DTU.

For mechanical engineering the following diplomas are considered equivalent to a diploma in mechanical engineering awarded/recognized by state board of technical education:

(i) Diploma in mechanical engineering with specialization in any subject,
(ii) Diploma in production, automobile, aeronautical and industrial engineering,
(iii)Diploma from tool room and training center and
(iv) Lateral entry courses of the above specializations.
