The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a government-aided institute and Deemed University

IIST B. Tech Admission :

Admission in IIST shall be on the basis of JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced)

IIST Application Form is issued online through the web posrtal.

Candidates first have to appear and qualify in JEE (Main), and JEE (Advanced) examinations is conducted by CBSE and IITs respectively.

Courses Offered :

Undergraduate Courses:
4-year B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering and the number of available seats are 60.
4-year B.Tech in Avionics with total available seats of 60.
5-year Dual degree course (B.Tech/M.tech), with 20 seats only.


Eligibility

Citizenship: Candidate has to be an Indian citizen

Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC(NCL) categories must have at least 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) papers and those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must have at least 60%.

Application fee for female candidates (GEN/OBC) – Rs. 300/-.
