I will tell you criteria for admission into PG program conducted by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Chandigarh through entrance exam so that you can remember easily.

Eligibility
Candidate must have done the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in respective discipline according to the course for which he/ she wants to apply.

The applicant must have at least 60% or 6.75 GPA (55% or 6.25 for SC /ST candidates & 50% or 5.75 GPA for PH candidates) aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

He / She must have the valid GATE or NET or GPAT score. Those who are in final year can also apply for the same.

Registration process
The registration fees for NIPER Joint Entrance Exam where general category candidate need to pay Rs. 1500/- and reserved category candidate need to pay Rs. 750/- as application fees. Candidate can pay this application fee online.

Paper pattern
The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours; the question paper will consist of 200 multiple objective choice questions; the level of questions will be of B.Pharm & M.Sc (relevant field) Negative marking will be done for wrong answers in the written test; as much as 25% of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the NIPER Joint Entrance Exam (NIPER JEE) conducted by the Institute
