The indigenous Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) is a push to advance a smaller best in class airborne observation framework for the Indian Airforce to check a critical commitment to Defence readiness by the DRDO with CABS (Bangalore) leading the system as a nodal organization. The indigenous AEW&C is a multi-sensor framework on an official plane air ship accommodating all parts of airborne reconnaissance.



The Capabilities, Operational Role and Functional Requirements:

The Indian AEW&C framework will distinguish, recognize and characterize dangers present in the observation range and go about as a Command and Control Center to bolster Air Defense operations, as AWACS. The framework with its different Communication and Data Links can ready and direct contenders against dangers while giving ?Recognizable Air Surveillance Picture? (Grate) to administrators at the Ground Exploitation Stations (GES) that are deliberately found. The Platform:

The Brazilian Emb-145 has been picked as the stage flying machine for the AEW&C framework.
