Senior pioneers from the American Federation of Government Employees Council 214 and Air Force Materiel Command have finished transactions on another expert work assention that will influence around 35,000 of the summon's regular citizen representatives

Last arranged in 2002, the expert work understanding is an agreement between AFGE Council 214 and AFMC that represents matters influencing dealing unit representatives' working conditions. Transactions for the new assention were driven on the union side by AFGE Council 214 President Blanch and on the administration side by John Steenbock, AFMC chief of Manpower and Personnel.

As indicated by summon authorities, the new ace work assention speaks to an administration and work culture that blossoms with participation, cooperation and a "people first" rationality.

To permit time for move, the new understanding won't go live until April 1 2012. This will likewise give union and administration authorities time to finish printing and dispersion of the new understanding.

Employees included in the AFGE Council 214 bargaining unit who will be impacted by the new agreement are located throughout AFMC including Air Force Metrology and Calibration in Heath, Ohio; Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn.; Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.; Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.; Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M; Robins Air Force Base, Ga.; Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.; and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. AFGE Council 214 employees at Hurlburt Field, Fla., will also be affected.
