Scholarships run from $1,000 to $10,000. To qualify for this scholarship, you must be a current member of the association, or must join before you apply.

Candidates must either be enrolled or planning to enroll a full-time MBA program in the USA or Canada.

Besides the sholarship, recipients get round-trip airfare, housing and ticket to the NBMBAA Annual Conference and Exposition.

The application process seems straightfoward, can consisting of an essay, resume, transcripts, and headshot.

The National Black MBA Association provides financial support to students pursuing careers in business, academia, and related professions.

Its main mission is to identify and increase the pool of Black talent for business, public, private, and non-profit sectors.

The program is supported by donations from our corporate and educational partners and members.

Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $10,000 however award amounts are contingent upon funding.

Application materials:

Application: Must be completed online.
Essay: Complete a 500 word essay on the selected topic - submitted online only.
Resume: Submit a current resume no more than two (2) pages long.
Transcript(S): Required - upload a copy of your most recent official transcript(s).
Photographs: Submit a headshot in jpeg format. The image should be at least 1024 x 768.
