Re: After Engineering Why MBA
Definitely Pursuing MBA after engineering enhances your career prospectus. Engineering skills combined with managerial skills enable you to be sort of a unique candidate. When graduating engineers start applying for jobs, many of them will be placed in companies which will require them to work in departments like Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations/Project management. The MBA degree also bestows a chance of rising to managerial positions in software and IT firms. These fields have nothing to do with their educational background. Engineers from nearly all streams can choose MBA, but some of the fields that are most beneficial include – computer science, IT, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering etc. |
