After HSC can I give IIT JEE

I have completed HSC and now I want to give IIT JEE so please tell me that I am eligible or not? Also give detailed eligibility criteria of IITJEE?

IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam) is one of the most prestigious tests taken to get admission in one of the world’s best engineering colleges in India i.e. all IIT’s.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Pass Percentage in Qualifying Examination:
Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the subjects as optional subjects (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, and Biology).

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in total including all subjects


2. Date of Birth:
Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1990 to be considered for the JEE Main 2015.

SC/ST/PwD Candidates will have a relaxation of the upper age limit by 5 years.
SC/ST/PwD Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1985.


3. Year of Passing Qualifying Examination (QE):
Candidates must have passed their Class XII examination or other qualifying examination in the year 2013 or 2014, or

Candidates who are appearing for their Class XII examination in 2015 are eligible


4. Number of Allowed attempts:
Maximum number of three attempts will be allowed per candidate
