Yes you can apply for graduate aptitude test in engineering examination after passing graduation level degree with non electronics stream .. after passing MSC or MCA degree you can apply for gate exam

GATE eligibility :
You have to passed Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent degree from a well recognized university
Or
You have to pass Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy (Post-Diploma/ Post B.Sc./4 years after 10+2)
Or
Bachelor's degree in Science (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2)
