Age Limit For Indian Navy Officer
I want to join Indian Navy as Executive Officer so can you please tell me the age limit required for the post?

As an Executive Officer, you will be a vital part of the complex system that manages the ship and also uses the ship as an instrument of tactical warfare. Executive Officers are trained in specializations such as Anti-Submarine Warfare, Navigation, Communications, Gunnery Logistics, Diving and Hydrography. One could also opt for the Air or Submarine arm. Various Types Of Entries Of The Executive Branch Of Indian Navy- Entry - 10+2 (B.Tech) Gender - Male only Age limit - 17 to 19 ½ Educational qualification- 10+2 or its equivalent from university/board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in class x or class xiii) NDA(NA) Male only 16 ½-19 12th pass with PCM/Appearing CDSE/NCC Male only 19-24 BE/B.Tech in any discipline (Completed/Appearing) For NCC- holding NCC Naval senior wing 'C' Certificate Executive (General Service)/Hydro Cadre Male only 19 ½ to 25 BE/B.Tech (Any discipline) Pilot General Male only 19-24 BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physics & Maths in 12th standard. CPL Holders Male only 19-25 A candidate holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India) Observer 19-24 BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physics & Maths in 12th standard. Information Technology 19 ½ to 25 BE/B Tech in any one of the following stream:- (i)Electrical (ii)Electronics (iii)Mechanical (iv)Production (v)Instrumentation (v)IT (vi)Chemical (vii)Metallurgy (viii)Aerospace Engineering Logistics /Works Male and Female 19 ½ to 25 For Logistics Cadre- (i) BE/B Tech in any discipline with 1st class or (ii) MBA with 1st class or (iii) B Sc/B Com/B Sc(IT) with 1st class and PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Mgt/Material Mgt or (iv) MCA/M Sc(IT) with 1st class For Works- (v) BE/B Tech(Civil)/B Architect For Catering- M Sc(HM)/MBA(HM)/B Sc or BA with 1st class and PG Diploma in HM LAW Male and Female 22 to 27 Candidates should possess degree in Law qualifying them for enrolment as advocates under the Advocates Act, 1961. ATC Male and Female 19 ½ -25 BE/B.Tech degree in any discipline with Physcis & Maths in 12th standard. UES Male 19-24 Final Year BE/B Tech with 60% marks in any one of the following stream:- Executive Branch Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical, Production Engineering, Computer Science & IT, Control Engineering, Electrical, Tele-communication, Electronics Engineering, Any other allied discipline. Pilot/Observer BE/B Tech in any discipline with 55% marks. Information Technology BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/IT) with 60% marks. Musician Male only 21 to 25 Educational Qualification- Bachelor's Degree from recognized university Professional Qualification- Ability to play competently at least one military band musical instrument, in addition to the Piano-Forte. Should possess one of the following Diplomas or equivalent:- LRAM/ARCM/ATCL/ Preferable:- Experience as a Conductor of an Orchestra/Band or as a Teacher of Music. Sports Male only Educational Qualification Regular Post Graduate Degree OR BE/B Tech degree in any field. Candidates with diploma in Sports Coaching from National Instt of Sports and MSc in Sports (Coaching) will be given priority for shortlisting. 22-27 Sports Qualification (a) All sports other than Yachting/Wing Surfing A candidate should have participated in Sr. level national championships/games in following disciplines Athletics/Cross- Country/Triathlon/Badminton/Tennis/Squash/Football/Handball/Hockey/Basketball/Volleyball/Cricket/Swimmming/Diving/Water Polo/Kabaddi/Boxing 21-25 (b) Yachting/Wing Surfing) Must have at least one of following qualifications: (i) Should have participated in Sr National Championship conducted by YAI and secured a minimum of 5th position in an Olympic class. (ii) Should have attained a position amongst the top 50% of the fleet in a class of boat/windsurf completed at the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship. (iii) Should have represented India at the Asian Games or ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships and secured a medal in Youth/Olympic Classes. |
