Re: Age Limit to JOIN IAF
As You have not mention your academic qualification, so it is difficult to me for inform you the specific answer as you have asked regarding age limit for Indian Air Force exam One can be joined Indian Air Force through NDA and CDS entrance exam which conducted by UPSC twice every year. NDA - National Defence Academy – Applicant aspiring for IAF, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years. CDS - Combined Defence Service – Applicant must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics within the age of 19 to 23 years. Beside it there is one more exam for join Air Force called AFCAT There are three branches of Air Force 1)Flying Branch 2)Technical Branch 3)Ground Duty Branch. In order to apply for flying branch, you will have to do so through AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test). The educational qualification required to apply for AFCAT is graduation from any stream with 60%, but with physics and maths in 10+2. Age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying). In order to apply for Technical Branch, you will have to do so through AFCAT,the educational qualification required is a engineering degree with minimum 60%. Age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying). In order to apply for Ground Duty Branch, you need to do so through AFCAT,the educational qualification is graduation from any stream with 60%. Age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying). |
