Age Of Retirement In Indian Navy
I am making project report on the topic Indian Navy and searching for the details related to this. Will you please provide me details about the Ages of compulsory retirement of officers of all Branches and also provide details about the perks and allowances which is offered here?

Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India, under Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Ages of compulsory retirement of officers of all Branches (except of Medical Branch):- Admiral - 62 Years or 3 yrs tenure whichever is earlier Vice Admiral - 60 Years Rear Admiral - 58 Years Capt/Cmde - 56 Years (57 Years in the case of officers placed in the select list of promotion to the Rank of Rear Admiral). Commander (including Cdr (TS)- 54 Years Lt Cdr & below - 52 Years Some allowance and perks while in Navy: Allowances • Flying (for qualified Aircrew - 9000-14000/ PM) • Submarine (for qualified Submariner - 9000-14000/ PM) • Marcos (for qualified as Marcos - 9000-14000/ PM) • Diving (for Clearance/ Ships Diver - 800- 400/PM) • Sea Going (for all Officers Serving onboard Ships (sailing only) - 4200-5200/ PM On basis of rank ) • Technical (for Technical Officer - 2000-5000/ PM) • Hydrographic (for qualified Hydrography - 400-1200/PM) • Uniform (for all Officers - 16000 (initial) & 5000 (every 3 years) Perks • Free Medical Facilities for Self and Family • Canteen Facilities • Free Ration • Mess / Club/ Sports Facilities • Group Insurance • Furnished Govt.
