Hello I am interested in having the rules & guidelines which are laid down by AICTE with UGC for the appointment of Professor as well as Assistant Professor?

The point of any nation's advanced education framework is manageable improvement and accomplishing higher development rates.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has been in presence since November 1945 as a national level Apex Advisory Body with its main goal of creating and advancing quality specialized instruction in the nation in an organized and incorporated way.

Least Qualifications for direct prerequisite to the post of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and other non-educating posts

1. Least Qualifications for showing personnel in Departments of Anthropology, Biotechnology, Botany, Commerce, Computer Science and Information Technology,

Science, Applied Chemistry, Economics, English, Forestry, History, Hindi, Library and Information Science, Pure and Applied Physics, Political Science, Social Work, Rural Technology, Law, Zoology, Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics,

Professor:

A. (i) A prominent researcher with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/united/applicable teach and distributed work of high caliber, effectively occupied with exploration with proof of distributed work with at least 10 productions as books and/orresearch/arrangement papers.

(ii) at least ten years of showing background in college/school and/or involvement in research at the University/National level organizations/businesses, including knowledge of directing contender for examination at doctoral level.

(iii) Contribution to instructive development, configuration of new educational module and courses, and innovation – intervened showing learning process.

(iv) A base score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Execution Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulation 2010.

Then again

B. A remarkable expert, with set up notoriety in the applicable field, who has made noteworthy commitments to the information in the concerned/partnered/pertinent control, to be substantiated by qualifications.

Assistant Professor

i. Great scholarly record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/united/important orders.

ii. A Master's Degree with no less than 55% imprints (or a proportional evaluation in a point scale wherever reviewing framework is taken after).

iii. At least eight years of experience of educating and/or research in a scholastic/research position identical to that of Assistant Prof essor in a University, College or

Authorize Research Institution/industry barring the time of Ph.D. research with confirmation of distributed work and at least 5 productions as books and/or research/approach papers.

iv. Commitment to instructive development, configuration of new educational module and courses, and innovation – interceded showing learning process with proof of having guided doctoral applicants and examination understudies.

v. A base score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulation 2010.

Associate Professor

i. Great scholarly record with no less than 55% imprints (or an identical evaluation in a point scale wherever reviewing framework is taken after) at the Master's Degree level in a pertinent subject from an Indian University, or a proportional degree from a certify outside college.

ii. Other than satisfying the above capabilities, the competitor more likely than not cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) directed by the UGC, CSIR or comparable test certify by the UGC like SLET/SET.

iii. Despite anything contained in sub-conditions (i) and (ii) above, hopefuls, who are, or have been granted a Ph. D. Degree as per the University Grants Commission

(Least Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or satisfying the conditions as set around the University might be exempted from the necessity of the base qualification conditionof NET/SLET/SET for enrollment and arrangement of Assistant Professor in the University.

iv. NET/SLET/SET might likewise not be required for such Masters Programs in orders for which NET/SLET/SET is not led.
