The Army Welfare Education Society(AWES) was established in 1983.

The Army Institute of Fashion & Design, Bangalore was established by the AWES in 2004.

The Institute offers following courses:
B.Sc. – FAD
M.Sc. - FAD

The Institute does not offer any Diploma Course in Sewing.

Eligibility Criteria:
B.Sc. – FAD

10+2 in any discipline with minimum 35% marks

Duration: 3 Years

Intake: 60 Seats

M.Sc. – FAD
Graduation in Science/ Engineering in Fashion Design and Textile related any stream of any University / Institution

Duration: 2 Years

Intake: 20 Seats
