I want to apply for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam so can you please tell me the age criteria required to apply for this exam?

AIIMS MBBS entrance exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission in MBBS program. AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2016 will conduct on May 29, 2016 AIIMS MBBS Eligibility: Age Criteria: Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2016 Candidates must have born on or after January 2, 2000 are not eligible Education Qualification: 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an same examination from a recognised Board Candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC in 2016 can also apply for AIIMS MBBS General and OBC candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50% Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible AIIMS MBBS 2016 Exam Pattern: The exam will be conducted in online mode i.e. computer based test (CBT). The exam will be for 3 hours and 30 minutes conducted in morning and forenoon sessions. The exam will have 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. Exam Mode Computer Based Test i.e. Online mode Language of Paper Bilingual - English or Hindi Types of questions Multiple choice and reason-assertion based Number of Questions 200 Distribution of Questions Physics – 60 Chemistry – 60 Biology – 60 General Knowledge - 20 Total – 200 Questions Marking Scheme For correct answer: +1 marks are given For incorrect answer: -1/3 (One third) mark is deducted Syllabus Common syllabus notified by the Medical council of India. Generally, CBSE syllabus taught at 10+2 level |
