After post graduation I want to take admission in Ph.D. Program in Genetics Course at Division of Genetics at Department of Pediatrics – AIIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi so please give me detailed information about admission?

The Division of Genetics of Department of Pediatrics of AIIMS Delhi offers PhD Program in Genetics.

Candidates who are interested to take admission in following Ph.D Program, they fulfil following details:

Educational Qualification
Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks

OR
Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree

OR
Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations.

Must have MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

Duration of Program:
Minimum: 3 Years
Maximum: 5 Years

Centre for Examination: Examination will be conducted in Delhi only in both online & offline modes.
Selection Procedure:
Selection for Ph.D. registration will be made through 2- stage performance evaluation as under:

Stage I: Written test
Stage II :Out of the candidates who secured 50 percent or above in the written test (Stage-I),

Total Marks: 80 marks
Duration: 90 Minutes
Total Questions: 50 Theory based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) & 30 clinical/practical/lab based Short Answer Questions (SAQs)/MCQs
Negative Marking: 1/3 Mark
Zero mark will be given for questions not answered.
