The All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS, Delhi offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) program of minimum duration of 5 1/2 academic years including one year's compulsory.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility -

12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognised University/ Board

Candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC can also apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017

General and OBC candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%

Age:

Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission

Nationality –

Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible

Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination

Application fees-

The cost of AIIMS MBBS application form was Rs. 1000 for General/OBC and Rs. 800 for SC/ST category candidates.

OPH Candidates were exempted from paying the examination fee.

The examination fee could be remitted through Debit/Credit Card/Bank Challan along with applicable service tax.

AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern -

The exam was conducted in online mode i.e. computer based test (CBT).

The exam had 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany) and General Knowledge.
