All India Institute of Medical Sciences Directs AIIMS MBBS Examination for the best students to gain admission into AIIMS for MBBS course. Students have to secure very high marks in this entrance test to be considered for admission. This institution of national importance is invariably judged as the benchmark for medical studies in India. The degrees and diplomas awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized as medical qualifications by the Indian Medical Council (IMC).


AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern:

The Exam will be of 3½ Hours Duration and will have one Paper Consisting of 200 Objective type (multiple choice and reason- assertion type) Questions From Subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.

Subject - Number of Questions

Physics - 60 questions
Chemistry - 60 questions
Biology (Botany and Zoology) - 60 questions
General Knowledge - 20 questions

Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi According to the Choice Marked During Application.

Marking Scheme:

Each incorrect response will get a score of- 1/3 (minus-one-third).
Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.
No credit will be given for the questions not answered.
More than one response will be treated as a wrong answer and negatively marked
