Re: AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam Tips

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) India is a medical research and educational institute run by the Indian Government that conducts an annual entrance exam for admission to courses in medicine

The AIIMS MBBS medical entrance exam is one of the toughest and lasts for a duration of three and a half hours, with 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge.

As per your demand here I am providing you Tips for this Exam

-Refer to NCERT course books of 11th as well as 12th standards for comprehensive preparation of the prescribed curriculum.

-Practise solving a lot of previous years’ sample and mock papers of AIIMS to get a fair idea of the test pattern. This will help in devising strategies for successfully attempting the AIIMS paper. Try solving mock AIIMS papers within the assigned time to improve speed.

-Solving a minimum of about 300 questions on a daily basis is the tried and tested method to get to the top. Solving questions gives you knowledge, refreshes your memory and points out your mistakes.

-If you are from a non-math group at the 10+2 level, revise important mathematical formulae and make sure you have a good grasp of high school standard mathematics.
-Maintain a study schedule and update it regularly with tasks accomplished and those that are yet to be attempted.

-Since numerical based questions are asked in the paper so it is best to understand the core concepts rather that learning by rote.

-Focus on magazines like Competition Success Review etc. and newspapers for sample questions and current affairs topics. The paper contains questions on latest innovations and development in the field of science and technology. So, students must read more about them.

-Since there is negative marking for wrong answers, students must avoid guesswork to arrive at an answer.

-Buy reference books and solve mock paper

-Focusing the preparation keeping the syllabus as the base would help you save time as well as your can have your attention on the important topics

-Make the separate notes of all the formulas of physics and record the chemical formula and reactions of chemistry.

-Prepare the diagrams of biology as you can expect such in the exam to identify from the given diagrams

-As biology is a subject of theory make sure you take out time on everyday basis to revise the definitions and meanings of the terminology you learnt.

-There is no escape from hard work; the more you study the more confident you become.
