Eligibility :

Candidate must possess a MBBS degree from a recognized university by Medical Council of India if they are seeking an admission to MD/MS programmes

The candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in MBBS if he/she belongs to general category or an aggregate of 50% marks if he/she belongs to SC/ST category

Examination pattern :

For MD/MS:

Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes)

Number of Questions: 200 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus for MBBS programmes

For MDS:

Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)

No. of questions: 90 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme: 1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus: Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
