AIIMS PG exam is national level entrance exam conducted by All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes under various courses of Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences.

AIIMS PG exam eligibility-

For applying to MD/MS courses candidate must possess MBBS degree from a university recognized by Medical Council of India

Candidates who are applying for must have successfully completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/ practical training

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in their MBBS programmes

For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate

For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate

Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern for MDS

There will be 90 objective type questions in the exam.
Exam duration will be for 90 minutes.
1/3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Exam Pattern for MD/MS

There will be 200 objective type questions in the exam.
Exam duration will be for 3 hours.
1/3rd marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
