The AIIMS Conducts the PG Entrance Exam for Admission into the Post graduation Courses Like MD , MS

Examination Pattern :

Exam will be conducted in online mode only i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT)

Number of questions –
AIIMS PG Entracne Exam will have 200 Multiple Choice Questions with single correct response

marking scheme - 1 (one) marks for each correct response

Negative Marking - 1/3rd (one third) of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response


Questions in the Examination Are Asked from the Following Topics that are

Pre-clinical - Anatomy, Bio-chemistry, Physiology

Para-clinical - Community Medicine; Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, etc.

Clinical - Community Medicine, Medicine and allied subjects (Psychiatry, Dermatology), Obstetrics and gynaecology, Paediatrics, etc.

Surgery and allied subjects - Anaesthesiology, E.N.T., Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, etc.
