The minimum period of registration in respect of all the candidates who are registered for PhD is 3 years and maximum period of registration shall not exceed 5 years Important Dates July 2016 Session Date of Uploading Prospectus & Registration of Online Application through Web: 02nd May 2016 Last Date for Online Registration of Application on AIIMS Website: 25th May 2016 (up to 05.00 pm) Applicants are required to check on 21st June 2016 through the Registration Status Tab of their My Page after Login: 20th June 2016 Last, Date for Submission of Required Documents for Regularization of Rejected: 29th June 2016 Last Date for MHFW, Govt. of India to forward an approval regarding ‘No Objection’ to the Foreign National for appearing in the PhD Exam for July 2016 Session: 29th June 2016 Finalization of Centres & Allotment of Roll No /Admit Card on Website: 05th July 2016 Date of Exam Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): 16th July 2016 (Saturday, 10.00 am to 11.30 pm, Centre: Delhi/NCR) Expected Date of Declaration of Result: 20th July 2016 (Wednesday) Departmental Assessment: 26th July 2016 (Wednesday) Date of Final Result: 29th July 2016 (Friday) Last Date for joining the PhD Program: 31st August 2016 (Wednesday) Method of Selection Selection for PhD registration is made through 2-stage performance evaluation: Stage I Written test carrying 80 marks of 90 minutes duration in the subject one has applied for. The question paper consist of 50 theory based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 30 clinical/practical/lab based Short Answer Questions (SAQs)/MCQs. Each correct (MCQ) answer is awarded 1-mark and each wrong (MCQ) answer is awarded one-third (-1/3) negative mark More than one answer is treated as the wrong answer and awarded negative mark. Zero marks is given for questions not answered Stage II Out of the candidates who secured 50% marks or above in the written test (Stage-I), candidates 3 times the number of seats advertised are called for departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment (carrying 20 marks) on the fourth day Centre for Exam Exam is conducted in Delhi/NCR only in through Online and Offline modes Application Fee i. General/OBC Category: Rs.1000/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable ii. SC/ST Category: Rs.800/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable iii. OPH Candidates is exempted from any Fee |
