All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh founded in 2012 is a medical college and medical research public university, based in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The Institute operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The main mission of AIIMS or All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh is to establish a centre of excellence in medical education, training, health care and research imbued with scientific culture, compassion for the sick and commitment to serve the under served.

It aim to enhance the reputation of our country by relevant research in medical field, creating clinical excellence and social awareness in young doctors and giving bright minds of Uttrakhand a preference in participation of path breaking research and giving new dimensions to medical science.
