Hey buddy the Australian Inter‐service Incident Management System (AIIMS) has been designed for management of emergency incidents in this country Ethics Management by objectives Functional management Span of control. Main Roles of the AIIMS Logistics - Provision of human and physical resources, facilities, services and materials Planning - The collection and analysis of information and the development of plans for the resolution of an incident. Control - The management of all activities necessary for the resolution of an incident. Public Information - warnings, information and advice to the public and liaison with the media and affected communities. Operations - The tasking and application of resources to achieve resolution of an incident. AIIMS was first developed in the 1980s as a derivative of the United States’ NIIMS, and is based on the principles of management by objectives, functional management and span of control |
