Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Center is being established in 2006 as the apex center of the country at Raj Nagar on the Ring Road about two kilometers from AIIMS.

It is run by All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS.

It is the India's first full-fledged trauma centre to treat victims of road accidents

This multi disciplinary center apart from providing holistic trauma care services will also function as referral center.

Two ICU's (including one dedicated neurosurgical ICU) with total capacity of 30 beds and 26 high-end ventilators
