Eligibility
Nationality – Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible

Age: Candidates must complete minimum 17 years

Education Qualification:
Applicants have passed the 12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognised University/ Board

Candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC can also apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017

General and OBC candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%

For SC/ST category Rs. 800

Exam pattern
The Competitive AIIMS Entrance Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam Marking Scheme
Each incorrect response will get a score of -1/3 (minus-one-third).

Each correct response will get a score of 1 mark.

No credit will be given for the questions not answered.

More than one response will be treated as wrong answer and negatively marked.

The total duration of the exam is 3.5 hours.
