The National Board of Examination has been notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conduct a competitive entrance examination - AIPGMEE - All India Postgraduate Medical Entrance Examination - on All-India Basis for admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Diploma Seats (except for colleges located in Jammu & Kashmir and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh).

Eligibility
• One must be an Indian Citizen
• Registration with MCI/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling and admission in allotted College
• One who has studied/passed MBBS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are not eligible for AIPGMEE. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that they was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
• One must have passed the MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship.
• A candidate who, after passing the MBBS is undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete before the entrance exam can take up the exam.
