All India Pre Medical Test AIPMT Exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in Under Graduate medical courses in various colleges throughout the nation.

AIPMT 2016 Reservation of Seat should be done for under-represented or backward classes in the society.

Under this provision, a certain percentage of the total seat will be reserved for such classes.

AIPMT Reservation of Seats 2016-

Under AIPMT 2016 reservation of seats, the seats will be reserved for SC, ST, OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates.

CBSE will issue two merit list, one All India Level, and another State Level.

AIPMT 2016 holds 15% merit seats as All India Quota.

Apart from this AIPMT reservation of seat will be as follows:

For Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, 27% seats will be reserved. However, these seats will only be reserved in Central Education Institute and will be only for those OBC candidates who will fall under Non-Creamy layer (NCL).

For Schedule Caste (SC), candidates 15% seats will be reserved under AIPMT 2016

For Schedule Tribe (ST) candidates, the same will be of 7.5%

Lastly, 3% seats will be reserved for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates on horizontal basis.

The AIPMT reservation of the seat 2016 will be subjected to the document of proof.

Candidates will have to show/produce documents which officially state that they belong to a certain category.
