Indian Air Force conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to recruit adventurous Men and Women to Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches.

The test is conducted two times a year in February and September.
Advertisements inviting applications for AFCAT are out in June and December.

For all entries other than NDA and CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT. The test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force.

As per your demand here I am telling you the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for Flying Branch

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Flying Branch

Age: 19 to 23 years as on 01st January of the succeeding year (For eg: If applications are made on 2015.

Age limit is -19 to 23 years as on 01 Jan, 2016(born between 02nd January, 1991 to 01st January, 1995) both dates inclusive)

Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (Indian) is relaxable upto 25 years.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must be Graduates (minimum 3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech degree (4 year course) from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Candidates who have failed the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy will not be eligible to apply
