The Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) is a set up college school that has practical experience in Medicine and Allied Health Sciences courses.

AUCMS was set up in 2002 as the head meducationist in Malaysia. We have ventured through developments and difficulties with our rationalities in solution , training and demonstrable skill , to convey change to lives with thoughts past science.

Together with Dato' Zainuddin Wazir, different expert specialists who are present practioners in the fields of drug and science have additionally given their support to the development and extension of AUCMS. As a group, they are devoted to the advance of AUCMS new medical city campus.

Degree Courses

Doctor of Medicine – Universitas Sumatera Utara (MD USU)
The twinning program consist of two phases:
Pre Clinical Years : Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia (3 years)
Clinical Years : AUCMS Campus, Penang, Malaysia (2 years)
Clinical years will be conducted through a network of teaching hospitals approved by Ministry Of Health (MOH), Malaysia

Doctor of Medicine – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (MD – UKM)
The MD UKM is a pioneering franchise program, the first of its kind accorded by the university. The student will earn a Doctor Of Medicine – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (MD – UKM) once they have completed the 5 years program.
The program consist of two phases:
1st Phase: Pre Clinical studies at AUCMS Campus for 2 years.
2st Phase : Clinical Studies at Ministry Of Health affiliated hospital for 3 years
Clinical years will be conducted through a network of teaching hospitals

Diploma Courses

Diploma in Nursing
AUCMS aims to produce Registered Nurses who are competent in providing outstanding services to patients locally and internationally. Being mindful of patients’ vulnerability and requirements of health and social care, this program is geared towards preparing students to be caring and qualified professionals in the medical industry.

Diploma in Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a growing field of health care services. It is the intergration of art and sciences with a focus of enhancing hands-on skills. Physiotherapists provide treatment, preventive advice and care while rehabilitating those with physical and psychological impairment to maximize functional abilities for healthy lifestyle.

Diploma in Pharmacy
Equipping and producing students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes essential for the practice of Pharmacy. Students will be given exposure in the pharmaceutical areas in allied hospitals while performing their clinical exercise. Upon graduation, students can expect to be assistants to pharmacists in clinical pharmacy, medicine and drugs and research pharmacy, or continue with Bachelor in Pharmacy Degree.

Diploma in Medical Sciences
The programme is customized to meet the aspirations of students who wish to pursue a medical degree by providing them an alternative pathway through our Diploma level instead of the traditional STPM or Matriculation qualifications. Arrangements have been established with some foreign universities to accept our Diploma student to take up a medical degree after their graduation. AUCMS is also actively working to tie-up with more universities to have a similar arrangement. Alternatively, the Diploma students can enrol in our own medical degree when we start to offer the programme in the future. Other options available include pursuing a degree in disciplines such as nursing and pharmacy.

Diploma In Medical Laboratory Technology
This 3 years program is specially designed with the module created to train students to acquire a solid grasp in knowledge and skills to carry out a range of laboratory tests related to health care services. The students will be trained to effectively apply their skills to conduct health care tests using the most updated medical instruments. Within a health care environment, they are trained to perform routine diagnosis and performing tests that determine the identification of the symptoms.

Foundation in Medical Studies
This intense program prepares students entry into one of the medical degree offered at AUCMS. Upon completion, students may choose to enroll in either the Doctor Of Medicine – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (MD – UKM) and Doctor Of Medicine – Universitas Sumatera Utara (MD-USU) , Bachelor Degree in Medicine , Surgery and Obstetrics in collaboration with National University of Ireland (NUIG) or Bachelor Degree in Medicine , Surgery and Obstetrics in collaboration with National University of College Cork , Ireland (UCC) program.
