Am I eligible to apply for the NDA(National Defence Academy) examination after completing 10th???

No you are not eligible to apply for the NDA(National Defence Academy) after completing 10th, the basic requirement is that the applicant should have completed 12th. The UPSC conducts NDA examination for following three wings:


Indian army

Indian airforce

Indian navy


NDA eligibility:
Nationality:
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.


Required qualification:
For Army wing
The applicant should be 12th Class pass from any recognized board of India.


For Air Force and Naval Wings and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- the applicant should be 12th Class pass or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
