Dr B.R Ambedkar Open University invites applications for admission into B.Ed., B.Ed (Special Education) programmes through Entrance Test

Eligibility Criteria-

The candidate should be an Indian citizen

Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either BA/B.Sc/ B.Com/ BCA/ B.Sc (Home Science)/BBM and/or the Masters Degree in Commerce/Social Sciences/Humanities/Sciences

Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in B.E/B.Tech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other equivalent qualification

However, the candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PH should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying exam

Candidates appearing for final year exam in the Qualifying Exam (Bachelor or a Higher Degree) can also apply
Age:

Candidate should have completed 21 years
No upper age limit

The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PH categories shall be as per the rules in force

Admissions Procedure:

Admissions are made strictly on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test.

Syllabus for BEd entrance test:

The Question paper of the Entrance will have 3 parts for 100 marks.

Part-A General English Comprehension - 25 Marks
Part-B Proficiency in Telugu - 25 Marks
Part-C General Mental Ability - 50 Marks

Application fees-

Candidates are required to pay the fee of Rs.400/- by Debit/Credit card through university portal OR pay an amount of Rs.435/- at any TS /AP Online Franchise Centre and obtain the receipt
