American University of Antigua (AUA) is a private medical institution of higher
education located in the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda The sole
program at AUA is the College of Medicine.

AUA was co-founded by Neal S. Simon,a lawyer and former president of Ross
University. AUA began instruction in 2004. in 2008, Manipal Education and
Medical Group purchased the college from New York based Greater Caribbean
Learning Resources, Inc. and formed Maniple Education Americas, LLC

Accreditations and Approvals

The College of Medicine is listed in the FAIMER International Medical
Education Directory and the AVICENNA Directory for medicine

In 2012, AUA was approved by the American Association of Physicians of
Indian Origin (AAPI) as the leader in international medical education, the only
