Hey as per my idea Both AMIE and AMIETE are names of two membership
levels offered to candidates passing specified number of examinations

AMIE

AMIE is Associate Members of Institution of Engineers.

Conduct

AMIE is conducted by Institution of Engineers (IE)

Marks

In AMIE you require 50% marks to pass

AMIETE

AMIETE is Associate Members of Institution of Electronics and
Telecommunication Engineers.

Conduct

AMIETE is conducted by Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineering(IETE).

Marks

In AMIETE it's 40%. Require to pass

Recognition

Both are recognized by Central as well as State govts in India, but the
degrees of IETE is not as popular as that of AMIE especially in private sector.
