Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University was established on 1st May, 1983, the auspicious Maharashtra Day & Worker’s Day. This University geographically covers the western Vidarbha belt (i.e., five districts – Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim) of Maharashtra State.
