The A.P. Public Service Commission appeared on 1st November, 1956 with the development of the State of Andhra Pradesh . Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State. Andhra Service Commission appeared just in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States .

The Andhra Pradesh government has named P. Uday Bhaskar as Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission in the month of Novemebr 2015.

A B.Tech move on from the JNTU College of Engineering, Dr. Uday Bhaskar did his lords and doctoral degrees in ecological building from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

He worked at the JNTU-K in different limits including head of structural building, boss facilitator of a few consultancy, modernisation and examination ventures. He distributed more than 20 research papers in the national and worldwide diaries and gatherings.

The orders in this regard had been by been issued by Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao.
