TANCET is conducted by Anna University, for admissions into the M.Tech. Programmes in Tamilnadu.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have passed the B. Tech/B.E in the respective disciple with an aggregate of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST applicants)

Exam Pattern:
The question paper constitutes three parts
Part 1 & 2 are compulsory while Part 3 will be on respective chosen discipline/subject
Part 1 (compulsory): 30 questions
Part 2(Compulsory): 30 questions
Part 3: Applicants must choose a choice of a section out of 14 based on area of specialization and answer 40 Questions with 1 mark for every correct answer
Negative marking of 1/4 for every wrong answer
