ABOUT
FEAT Library has came into existence from the year 1945with three main branches of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering books.

Gradually it has grown up in all dimensions in terms of area, collection and services.

The Library is catering to the needs of the faculty, applicants, research scholars of the Faculty of Engineering Technology of Annamalai University with a seating capacity of Four hundred.

FACILITIES
1. The library provides open access system.

2. The OPAC facility for the Library Data Base can be searched by Author, title, accession No, subject, user, and keyword.

3. Books that are borrowed should be returned on / before the due date

4. The Document Delivery Service (Reprints of Journals) and the Inter Library Loan (ILL) service are provided through the DELNET.

5. In the case of books that are borrowed were missed, new books should be replaced
Bar-coded issue & return for quick processing.

6. The Xerox facility is provided to all users on special occasions to take few pages.

7. Internet & e- journal and wi- fy facility to Faculty and Students

The band width of the internet speed is 100 mbps for the campus network

Computer Division Automation & Digitization
“Libasoft” software is installed for database maintenance.
DIGIX software is used for scanning the materials like question bank, publications of our university (National / International) Conference volume
