I am a student of 3rd year B.Com program at Annamalai University. I heard news from somewhere about the Annamalai University that the Government of Tamil Nadu takeover it. Can I get an official video of this news from any news channel’s website? What is the reason that the Govt. of TN takeover it?

As per the some news TV channel the university had an accumulated deficit of 272.6 crore, besides a liability of 238 crore.

The Tamil Nadu government took control of the 84-year-old Annamalai University, which had plunged into a financial and administrative mess.

The university as of has 35,000 students and 49 departments.
