Hey as Hydrochloric acid is aqueous solution of the gas hydrogen chloride ( H Cl )

History
Aqua regia , a mixture consisting of hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, prepared by dissolving Sal ammoniac in nitric acid, described as the work of Pseudo-Geber, the European alchemists of the 13th century.

Nature and Chemical Reaction
Hydrogen chloride (HCl) is a monoprotic acid, which means that this acid can dissociate (ie, ionizing) only once to generate the H + ion (a single proton).
In water hydrochloric acid, H + combine with one molecule of water to form a hydronium ion, H 3 O +:
HCl + H 2 O → H 3 O + + Cl –

Uses
Hydrochloric acid is also used to adjust the pH (acidity) of liquid industrial waste water, before being discharged into receiving water bodies.
HCl is also used in the regeneration of the cation exchange resin (cation exchange resin).
In the laboratory, hydrochloric acid used for titration assay in an alkaline solution.
Hydrochloric acid is also useful as materials for the cleaning liquid porcelain.
HCl is used in the production process of gelatin and the additive in food.
On an industrial scale, HCl also is used in the processing of leather.
A mixture of hydrochloric acid and nitric acid (HNO3) or commonly called aqua regia, is the mixture to dissolve the gold.
Utilities other than hydrochloric acid which, in the production process of the batteries, fireworks and the flash of the camera.
