Re: Application Form For B.TECH In DCE

As per your concern I will let you know information of BTECH program and dates to fill application form for Delhi Technological University (Delhi College of Engineering).

Tentative dates
Online Registration will be starting from – 1st or 2nd week of July 2017

Start filling their choices for B.Tech: – Second week of July 2017

Last date of choice filling for B.Tech: – 2nd week of July 2017

Last date of submitting application form fee: – July 2017

First merit list will display on – 3rd/ 4th week of July 2017

Display of First list for admission: -Third week of July 2017

Reporting to institutes: – last week of July 2017

Selection procedure
Selection of candidates will be on the behalf of JEE main 2017 All India Rank. 40% mark weight age of JEE main 2017 and 60% marks weight age of 12th class marks. Candidates must appear in the counselling rounds which will be going to schedule July 2017 by Joint Admissions Committee (JAC).

Eligibility
The candidate must have passed their 12th exam and JEE exam.

The weightage for admission is divided like 60% is given to performance in JEE exam and 40% is given to performance in class 12th and equivalent exam.

Candidates have to pass their 12th or equivalent exam from the recognized board and institutions securing minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The age of candidates must be minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years.

Admission pattern
There will be 2 papers for dtu. Paper i will comprise of science (physics, chemistry and Mathematics). Paper ii will comprise of engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics and communication). Each paper will ask 90 questions and the maximum marks will be 360.

The admission to B.TECH (evening) programme shall be done by delhi technological university on the basis of the rank secured by the applicants in the entrance examination. In case more than one candidate have equal marks in the entrance examination, the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as stated in the eligibility conditions will form the basis of merit for admission.

In the event of marks in the qualifying examination also being equal, the candidate born earlier will be given preference.
