The Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay offers M.Sc. in Applied Statistics & Informatics program of duration 2 years. M.Sc. in Applied Statistics & Informatics Statistical analysis, modeling and inference are required in almost all areas of the natural and social sciences, technology and industrial research and development. The department also offers a two-year M.Sc. Applied Statistics and Informatics Program which involves pursuing a one-year research project in addition to usual coursework.
