Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed in the year 1956.

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam has conducted Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET 2016) for recruitment and promotions of Lectures/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges.

APSET 2016 Eligibility:-

Those who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examinations from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for this Test.

Important Dates:

• Starting Date of Online Registration: 30.06.2016
• Last date to submit application form: 25.07.2016
• With late fee of Rs. 1000 : 05.08.2016
• With late fee of Rs. 2000 : 10.08.2016
• With late fee of Rs. 5000 : 01.09.2016
• APSET Exam: 11th September 2016

he APSET 2016 examination is conducted in 31 subjects for which UGC has granted permission.
