Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test TET exam is conducted by Higher Education Board of Andhra Pradesh, for the recruitment of teachers at Andhra Pradesh Govt. Schools. APTET eligibility Criteria- For Primary Teacher Class 1 to 5 - Passed in Sr. Sec. Exam/ 10+2 with Min. 45% marks or having/ pursuing Two year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Diploma in Education/ Diploma in Special Education/ Bachelor of Elementary Education from a recognised institution. For Upper Primary Class 6 to 8 – Passed in Bachelor of Arts (BA)/ Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)/ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with minimum 45% marks and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed.)/ Bachelor of Education (B. Ed)/ B.Ed. in Special Education/ Bachelor in Elementary Education or Four Year Bachelor Degree. Candidates pursuing their degree/ diploma in final year can also apply. Age Limit: Age limit should be 18 years to 40 years. Relaxation in Age for SC/ ST/ PH candidates APTET Application Fee— Application fee should be Rs 250 Selection Procedure: There will 2 paper conducted first one is for primary class i.e. from class 1 to class Vth and the 2 paper is conducted for Upper Primary class i.e. from class VIth to class VIIIth. Pass Criteria of APTET- S.No. Community Pass Marks 1 OC 60% Marks and Above 2 BC 50% Marks and Above 3 SC 40% Marks and Above 4 ST 40% Marks and Above 5 Differently Abled (PH) 40% Marks and Above |
