I have completed my class 12th and now wants to do the courses of the archeology can you please help me regarding this?

Archaeology refers to the combination of two words namely called the 'archaios' and 'logos' which means ancient things and theory of science. Archaeology deals with the study about past civilization that are lost some where.

Basic Eligibility

UG:

Those who want to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology should have studied history as a subject in 10+2 to get the admission to the courses.

PG:

For degree or post graduate diploma courses in archaeology one should have completed his/her graduation in any discipline. However, graduates in social sciences like sociology, history, anthropology are given a preference whi8le giving the admission.

Specialization areas of the courses are characterized by a specific type of material (like archaeobotany, lithic analysis, music), chronological or geographical focus (like Medieval archaeology, Near Eastern archaeology), other thematic areas (like maritime archaeology, battlefield archaeology, landscape archaeology) or a specific archaeological culture or civilization (like Indology, Egyptology).
