Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) would conduct the ASRB NET in two stages – Preliminary Examination and NET (National Eligibility Test) in online mode at nearly 23 centers in the country

Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years. Maximum age limit is 32 years. Relaxation in age is provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.

-Educational Qualification-
Candidate must have Master degree or equivalent from the concerned discipline from a state or central recognized institute.

NET
-Age Limit –
Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years. There is no upper age limit.
-Educational Qualification
Candidate must have Master degree or equivalent from the concerned discipline from a state or central recognized institute.
Important Dates:
Beginning of online application form process – 3rd week of August 2015
End of online application form – 1st week of September 2015
Admit card release in online mode – 1st week of September 2015
Examination (ARS 2015 Prelims and NET 2015) – September 2015
Examination (ARS 2015 Mains) – 4th week of December 2015
Viva Voce cum Personal Interview round – 2nd week of January 2016
Result declaration – 3rd week of January 2016
Issue of eligibility certificate – 3rd week of March 2016

Exam Pattern
There shall be one paper of 150 marks weightage.
Duration of the test is 120 minutes.
Total number of questions in the examination – 150.
Type of questions – multiple choice/objective type.
For each correct answer, 1 mark would be credited.
For each incorrect answer, 1/3 marks would be deducted from the candidate’s score.
Language medium of the question paper – English and Hindi.
Mode of the examination – online.
Candidate has to mark his answer on computer using mouse.
Use of keyboard is prohibited.
Standard of paper will be that of a Master’s degree of an Indian University.
